Stick With Your Gut
Last year I attempted to change my blog, but my heart wasn’t really in it and it didn’t work and I didn’t put much in to it. Through out the year, I had all kinds of thought for posts that would work on this format, but with my change, I couldn’t do it. So, the lesson learned…stick with what you know and where your heart is. Political discourse is where my heart is. With the election year coming, I have all kinds of thoughts and opinions to share. I love being and playing the devil’s advocate just to get people thinking about all sides of an issue. That’s what you have to do to make the best, most informed decisions. This is a critical election year. It is imperative that voters go to the booth informed, and I hope to help with that process.
I also have a friend who stands on the opposite side of the political spectrum from myself who I may call upon to post as well. We will debate issues in a mature manner and I hope that we can get comments from readers. That being said, comments must also be mature and respectful; no foul language or disrespect. There is no need to insult people to make a point.
So here’s to a new year and a new American Rhoades!
